Every Tuesday morning, I pick last week’s three biggest global biotech and pharma stories and explain them simply, with the Korean market angle and the roles they matter for. Each issue also has a Word of the Week, a deep dive, the stocks that moved and the dates to watch next week.

No. The newsletter is free. Some paid resources are in the works.

Yaehyun Lee, who studied Pharmacology at UCL (BSc) and is now on the MSc Biotechnology & Pharmaceutical Management at UCL, reads the original sources and writes every issue while studying.

Yes. A separate English email edition has gone out since August 2026. On the web archive, every issue from #1 is available in English (the early issues are web-only translations). Subscribe on the English site to get the English edition.

Yes. Subscribe once on the Korean site and once on the English site with the same email, and you’ll get both.

Check your spam or promotions folder first. Adding the sender to your contacts moves future issues to your inbox. If they’re still missing, email me.

I only collect your name and email when you subscribe. They’re used only to send the newsletter and are managed in Stibee, the email service I use. Google Analytics cookies for visit statistics only switch on if you accept them in the banner, and you can change your choice any time under 'Cookie settings' in the footer.

I use AI to gather and do a first translation of international news, to summarise and tag each issue, and to draft interview questions. I check everything against the original sources, and AI-generated summaries and tags are labelled on the site.

No. It’s a simple sketch of which way a stock moved alongside the news. Check a real brokerage chart for exact prices, and make your own investment decisions.
